Lofts on Broughton Grand Opening

This weekend was the Grand Opening of the Lofts on Broughton Street in downtown Savannah. My husband and I went, taking along three friends of ours. What a great turnout! While we were there, there was a steady stream of people coming and going, and there were at least 100 people there at all times. The event was catered by Locos, with entertainment by Trae Girley and a great artwork display by Penelope Miller.
Several completed lofts were open for touring, while the main event - the cocktail party - was held in a giant unfinished corner space with exposed beams, brick walls and a great view of Broughton Street.
The lofts are located in the middle of all the Downtown action, right above Marc by Marc Jacobs. The finished units feature fabulous brick walls, wood flooring, contemporary ebony cabinets, stainless appliances (including side by side refrigerator), granite counter tops and beautiful tiled showers. One of the units we toured even features a private elevator (above right).
A Short Walk to All the Fun
After a little over an hour at the party, we walked to Jazz’d Tapas Bar for some great food and martinis, then on to Lulu’s Chocolate Bar for dessert and to meet more of our friends. Ah, there’s nothing quite like life Downtown.
